What We Learned from the Pre‑Survey

Pre-Survey Insights

We analyzed responses from 35 high school students, mostly aged 15–17. It was great to see that many of you already know about composting fruit and vegetable waste, and some of you even separate waste or compost at home! While most are familiar with rainwater harvesting, few have tried it yet. Importantly, nearly everyone agrees that protecting our environment is vital, suggesting simple actions like recycling, planting trees, and saving water.

Many of you expressed an exciting desire to learn practical skills, like reducing waste and growing your own plants. Since this is the first international project for most participants, it represents a fantastic opportunity to cooperate and share innovative ideas with students from other countries. Let’s use this chance to learn and grow together!
